The founder of MechWarrior 3's Community website, Dawg_Pack died 3 months ago and our website went down. No one could find out what happened to the site until recently. Here is Dawg_Pack's obituary.

Our great friend, founder of mechwarrior3.org who hung in there with us since the beginning in 2003, is dead. I just found out, 3 months late. Here is his obituary:

I will be attempting to get the site back up over the next month.
He was a good guy and a great MechWarrior, he will be missed.

My good friend AncientxFreako has started MW3 fans up a forum @

Dawg_Pack died at the age of 43 before completing his dream of a complete new mod for MW3.

I don't know if anyone here remembers MechWarrior3.org or Dawg_Pack, but the guy pretty much put collecting together the MW3 community on his back after the MSN Gaming Zone went down and when MekTek shunned MechWarrior 3 for Mechwarrior 4.

I'm using the Way Back Machine to save the MW3 TRM website as a RAR/screen shots.

I will NEVER forget! Posted Image His love and dedication to MechWarrior3 was unequivocal. My heart is heavy with the loss of such an asset within the BattleTech Universe. He never wavered, never gave up. And a fine, fine Pilot he was, striking fear into all that opposed him, but always with a smile. I whole-heartedly believe that, had he been given more time, that he would have achieved his dream. He will be dearly missed.

In memory of our fallen MechWarriors:
