LOL. Forgot to go over the modules I used on this. Usually I do run with derp but because of the IS v Clan match I went with Target Decay to help with spotting. I got 13 spotting assists in this match so I think it worked out well.

I can't agree with your decission to carry just 4 MLasers:
Light mechs aren't desgined around sustained DPS, reality is that to shot you generally have to endanger yourself to return fire and in a light mech you want to be in harm's way as little time as posible while dealing as much pain as posible.
Also you mentioned jenner's leg are hard to hit, I'm not saying to leave them unarmored but full armor is a waste, shave some armor off.

Now with the weight saved in heatsinks and leg armor get yourself some SRMs or streaks, SRMs are hard to aim, but if aimed properly they make your alfa strike go UP wich results in your ability to shot backs skyrocketing.
If you still are intent on not using the missile hardpoints better grab a Jenner F and go around with 6 MLasers.

Well at least that's what I think.

WELL BRIZNA COUPLE OF POINTS :

1. Light mech allways full leg armour no exceptions particulary the jenner
2. 4 ml is probably best load out streaks or srm take longer to fire not shorter 4ml good heat management

agree, I would never take anything but max armor on a light (except the head)

I may take less but only under weird load out circumstances.

for light mechs, seismic and derp are what I recommend.

I agree with Brizna that alpha is more important than DPS with a light. For DPS you have to linger, which isn't good. JR7-D or -K with 300XL, 4xMLas, SRM4 + 2xammo, 2xJJ, max-6 armor, 2xDHS allows for a 28 alpha with decent cooling and mobility.
JR7-K or -D "CoolRun"

I disagree with Brizna about the leg armor. Shave the armor on the head, front side torsos, and arms. Never skimp on CT or leg armor on a Jenner. Jenners are all legs and CT.

Thanks for all the discussion. I think play style is the most important. This works for me and everyone has made good points. I even mention the missile hard points in the vid. It's not meant to say this is how to build this mech. More of a look at what works for me, why I do it and how it fits my play style. I play this as a support mech so I went with sustainability. Keep an eye out for more. I'm currently working on a vid for the oxide. It's closer to Brizna's suggestions of heavy alpha at the expense of armor.

Again everyone as made great points and I think each of these have a place depending on play style.
