Give missile launchers a shared cooldown so that they cant be chained back to back non-stop

Fire them as a group and deal with heat issues, or wait for shared cooldown

Thinking about it some more, should do this for all weapons of same type

Fire them in a group or wait for CD

I LOVE THIS IDEA! ALL WEAPONS SHOULD SHARE A COOLDOWN, SO THAT IT'S ALPHA, OR GO HOME! CAPS LOCK MEANS YOU MUST OBEY ME!

Seriously. No.

The weight, damage and cooldown of the launchers (with Artemis) results in a damage per ton per second ratio that is more or less constant. No change needed I think.

I came here thinking that what the OP was proposing was that, if you fire, say, an LRM 15 and an LRM 5 together, the LRM 5 inherits the longer cooldown of the LRM 15. An idea I was prepared to consider, even though my argument would be in favour of no as it enables the lighter launchers to have some use on the battlefield, but I can see some sense in the argument for yes.

When I read what the OP actually meant...
