Thank you for the time, I am going to go ahead and order by this Friday. My friends graphics card is on hold, but I am going to order the parts, even if I have to wait a bit.

Also I am going to buy windows 7, I might be keeping it on the credit card for a bit.

Okay, $500 with OS? Hope you don't mind Windows 8 beta until you can buy windows 7 or the like.
Case: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811146061
Power supply: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817139026
motherboard: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813157292
CPU: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16819103893

RAM: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16820103006
HDD: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16822136769
ODD: (see if you can find one from an old PC that will work, the motherboard I suggested does have an IDE port if you need that. Ask around for people with old computers, pick one up for $5 at a PC store, etc.) otherwise: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16827135204
Heatsink: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835226050
OS: http://windows.micro...S/windows-8/iso 64bit

Best I could do. Windows 8 beta will get you along until you can get a different Windows (i.e. 7)
There are a couple things you can do to reduce shipping, but hopefully it won't be horrible. Namely saving on that Optical drive.

Hope all works well.

In my experiance, this is just not doable on $500. For "Flawless" performance, you're looking at a minimum of $1k, prolly more like $1.2-1.5k.

Sorry.

I would like to ask... what brand of power supply is it?
Other than that, seems like a fairly decent deal.

Quite honestly, I would check, if but to know whether you should change it out when you have the money to in the future, or whether it is a fine , good PSU.

Just what I suggest.
