can the training grounds be modified to take more than 1 person at a time. sometimes training units under live gameing fire is not ideal. thanks

Private matches.
Doubt they want to "lessen" the features of those by allowing several people on training grounds.
Also: training grounds runs on your machine locally, you're not using any server that people could log onto. Hosting any kind of matches on PGI-servers costs money.
It would be nice, though.

Greetings all,
This option should be renamed to 'Testing Grounds', as it's where the Pilot goes to check the configuration, heat, effects of there build.
- Not specifically training of anything.
- Training requires a set of steps or perimeters to follow and complete, that is not present in this area.
