[LORD ORION]

The formula is a little misleading if you think you will ever get the bonus C-bills

Here is my 1st roll today

I did 1111 damage, 2 kills 10 Assists (145 match score)

Team Dammage

Total: 2644

Formula
W= 40 A= 100 DMG = -103 ([1111-2664]/15)
Total = 37

As you can see that 1 in 50 game stomp performance fell VERY short of 130 points, even though I did 41% damage of the total team.

I needed to bag 12/12 kills to qualify. (11/12 would have put me at 127 points)

Pretty rediculous....

lol.... Team damage means the damage you did to teammates.....

Where is this explained?
Team Damage seems to me to always mean, damage the team inflicted.

0 Kill + 10 Assist + 450 DMG/15 = 130

1 Kill + 6 Assist + 750 DMG/15 = 130

1 Kill + 10 Assist + 150 DMG/15 = 130

2 Kill + 2 Assist + 1050 DMG/15 = 130
2 Kill + 4 Assist + 750 DMG/15 = 130

If you win, then: 1 Win x 20 = 20 point

If you lose, then: 0 Win x 20 = 0 point


PS: Please, don't mix the Regular Contest Formula, and the Special Reward Formula! (There are two things!)

Just to clarify as some of you already have... "Team Damage" in the formula is friendly fire damage.

If in a match you do 200 damage but you shot your teammate in the back with an AC/20, your total damage is 180.

In Lord Orion's example:

not sure about this one... seems to have a flaw with it being Victory based only, once a team goes 2 or 3 down the losing side is effectively giving up, dc or suiciding... should be points scored regardless of win or lose surely?

I am a loner and do not belong to any faction, lance or team. I row my own boat and tread the unbeaten path. I live for my self by my self. The only thing I long for, to get me thru my lonely life, is Hula girl. So I need the C-bills and the MC.

As a loner can I too take part in this competition or do I have to be in a team, lance, faction, troop, squad, party, committee to take part?

So that's 0 tournament points even though I had matches where I did 5 kills and many assists, and even though I spent as much time typing the team tactical advice as I did shooting.

Honestly, this is totally ******. It seems not to matter what I do, I cannot win a match when I am put in teams with up to 6 players who cannot even manage to do 100 damage.

This is the perfect kind of challenge, in my opinion. Skill-based with a great reward, and not a lot of grinding required.

It would be skill based if it didn't require your team to win. As it stands, after 10 straight losses and zero tournament points, my skill has made little difference to my tournament score of 0.

Edit: My team won the 11th match. How rewarding.
