So I think we all know and hate the statues by by the citadel in river city. Mechs of all sizes get hung up on them and are unable to move. This often leads to death or atleast being hit by an otherwise avoidable shot. I think its about time these statues go the way of the dodo. How about you?

I've died there more then once getting hung up on it, guess I'm a slow learner. I've thought about this very thing before and was wondering how such a small statue can stop a huge mech lol.

Or make them so that you can see them better if they have to be there!

Don't get rid of them. Make them destructible!

Give them one quarter the hit points of a turret

This.
Trees, street lights, light poles, statues, cars, pebbles and small boulders should be 'moveable' and destructible.

For example in the Industrial map, those heavy flood lights? Blast 'em down to create a darker environment.

I prefer to make them destructible so I can smash them to bits

You've said it all. Voted No but I would most certainly vote Yes if this was the case.

We really need some destructible / interactive environment.

We need something to hold people in place for the LRMs to hit. :P

I think some of the pebbles on canyon network are annoying. Then some of the areas in terra therma in the lava flows where you can not walk out of due to a minor ledge.

Some destructible terrain would be good. I would want that before removing items to look at. I can not wait for the road signs on some of the maps for advertizing. I just have a feeling that they would not be destructible if PGI used them revenue. (think of road signs in the country with bullet holes.)

The statues are one of the most annoying elements of River City. None of the trees or light posts have hit boxes; why should the statues?

If only my mech were made of that same material as the statues are. Or even those cables in the center of terra therma.

Lets hook some cables up to them and pull them down like that statue of Sadam. I want first dibs riding on the head.

The reason I didn't include a distruction option is because that would need a bunch of coding to work. they can simply remove the statue assests from the map now and if destructive terrain ever makes it in game then they can bring them back, or as someone pointed out above, make them like trees and stoplights where we can pass through them.

Much like the cars and street lamps in river city. These need to be DESTRUCTIBLE! My Atlas would make these dust once trampled. BUT NO! SO like the lamps. Make my armor out of these INDESTRUCTIBLE ITEMS!

Remove them until such a time as destructible items is implemented.

Yeah I had an instance where on of those lamps absorbed every rocket of a dual clrm 20 salvo, fired at an exposed enemy.

More things need to be destructible, but I think there's something to resolve when you walk on the Caustic Valley pipelines also: sometimes a 1 meter pipe can hung an assault mech... LOL
