Did you try the repair utility on the launcher? Also, does toggling v-sync in the graphics settings do anything? If you can, list whats in your pc. Gives us an idea of where your performance should be.

The wording of your post also seems to make it sound like you were getting a higher number of FPS and that it has changed. Is this correct? If it has, and you haven't "done anything", try reinstalling your video drivers (uninstall current one's completely, do a Google search for your card type[NVidia vs AMD]).

You may also want to go back into your settings in the game in case somehow your previous settings have changed (this doesn't normally happen with patches, but anything's possible I guess).

wut are your pc specs, how long has this been happening, what settings are you on, 30 fps is 100% playable and anything more then that is undectable by the human eye and is mostly for show.

If you've got a Nvidia graphic card, this could be caused by "Adaptive V-sync"
feature if your display's refresh rate is 60Hz and V-sync is set to
half of the display refresh rate.

At least this is what happened to me once.

Hope it helps.

This line of thinking is obsolete, the human eye can detect more than 30 fps.

Yup.

Quote

The USAF, in testing their pilots for visual response time, used a simple test to see if the pilots could distinguish small changes in light. In their experiment a picture of an aircraft was flashed on a screen in a dark room at 1/220th of a second. Pilots were consistently able to "see" the afterimage as well as identify the aircraft. This simple and specific situation not only proves the ability to perceive 1 image within 1/220 of a second, but the ability to interpret higher FPS. -Source

However on a more practical note, most monitors refresh rates are not capable of displaying more than 60fps at a time so anything more than that is either wasteful or needs correction via vsyc in order to prevent "out of sync" issues.

On a more related note, this user also reported this issue with this patch: http://mwomercs.com/...fps-is-limited/

I'm beginning to think this may be a bug.

either way you look at it 30 fps is 100% playable, especially with the amount of info given

I guess it's a matter of opinion/preference. 30 fps is not playable to me. If you're max FPS is 30, how low does it dip to? This game doesn't hold a super constant frame rate on most machines.
