My gosh, why is my BLR-1G Phoenix a tier 4!? That's my most powerful mech (500 is low damage) other than my JM6-DD (500 is also low), which is only tier 3. I can use both of these things to mutilate enemies, and now they're going to be even more powerful? How much more often will my 1000 dmg matches occur now?

Carnage will ensue promptly in 1 month. My dakka will engulf the entire enemy force and pummel them into the ground.

And all those mediums that I've one-shot in my BLR will run in terror before the wall of green energy and heartbeat of my AC5's.

I have twelve tier 5 mechs, anyone got more?

I've got the locusts, the spiders, the quickdraw, the catatpult, the thunderbolts and two of the awesomes. I've previously had the commandos, the raven and the hunch. I haven't owned a dragon since dragon bowling was a viable strategy though.

Spider 5V master-race.
Hilarious because you never see them, and also because JJ's are not in the gear list.

The 5V's quirk should be 200% leg strength ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

mah build: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...add5a235a66cd12

If you go Ferro Fibrous, you can stick that missing 12th JJ in! :D Or some armor... nah, 12 JJs FTW!

Dragons are fun as hell.I started to run my 1N with ER PPC + AC 10 and XL350,fast (104 kph)and nasty sniper/skirmisher,it can brawl too if the need arises.

I think it is pretty safe to say, with xl and endo, you cannot fit 12jjs AND ferro ><

COM-1B Favorite light mech
COM-3A Love my commandos
SDR-5K Most difficult mech to level in the game. Gave up on this model.
SDR-5V Weak, with bad hardpoints
CDA-3C Hard one to level, only one I don't keep combat ready
WVR-6K Love my wolverine, although this is the model I use the least.
TDR-5S Did really poorly with this one
TDR-9S Twin AMS only redeeming quality

Bought all the Wolverines as my first chassis for nostalgia's sake (always chose Woverines and Panthers when playing tabletop). I was such a terrible pilot initially, that I only really felt good in the 7K because it was the last one I mastered and it became my go to mech for group, challenge or C-bill grinding drops. As I slowly worked my way through the other IS mediums, I completely forgot about my horrible experiences in the 6K. The announcement of a tonnage allowance instead of weight class distribution for drop decks in CW allowed my to revisit my old, forgotten Woverine variants. Man, I had a terrible 6K build. With some hard won experience, I refitted it with 5 MPLs and narc. This weekend's challenge some me split my drops between the new 6K build and my favorite 7K to finish the weekend fourth in Wolverines.

Will need to change my 6K load out to take advantage of the LPL quirk in next week's patch. I avoided that set up initially because it is too similar to my 7K set up and I wanted some variation.

My list of owned Tier 5s:

RVN-2X Hate it. Only got into Ravens because of the initial plan for CW drops.
WVR-6K Grudging respect for my specialist narc/scout load out.
DRG-1N Not bad. I think the reputation of Dragons as death traps is overblown. That speed combined with 60 ton armor is very useful in the right role.
DRG-5N Love it. I use the triple AC-2 as an anti-sniper and was ecstatic to see the planned quirks for next week.
DRG-Fang It's OK, but not as useful as its brother the Flame.

I roll in my grid iron all the time. I worry its going to get gauss quirks. I'd never run a gauss. Hoping for lasers and lbx.

You got part of your wish, MPL and UAC5.

I willingly paid cash for the Locusts.

I don't regret it for a second.

So, I looked at the list of tiers and discovered that outside of my COM 2D, I've never even driven any mech higher than tier four except for a brief stab at a dual gauss K2 back when everyone and their dog had one. I wonder why all the mechs I like best are rated so poorly. I also feel the mounting need to reacquire a Dragon 5N.

I would recommend the 1N too,you cant go wrong with 50 % cooldown buff for ac5 that stacks up with modules and fast fire.

Not unless you drop one of the lasers, but that is a bad idea. All FF could give is 0.5 tons of armor for the head and arms.

11 of my 67 mechs are tier 5, lol darn someone beat me by one.
If I expand it to tier 4 as well a total of 33 out of 67 mechs are tier 4 or 5. Since I have now 21 clan mechs, that means only 13 of my mechs are NOT tier 4 or 5 on the IS side of things. LOL. Beat that.
