Greetings all,

The specific Gyro for each Mech is sized to counter the weight and design of the Mech.

- From Lore, some have two or three axis of counterbalance elements.

So to answer your question, it depends on the Mech. But they are all multi ton devices.

The lightest Gyros are 500 kilograms, the heaviest for a battlemech would be 10 tons.

Note for Gyros it's engine rating divided by 100 rounded up to the next full ton, with a modifier for gyro type. So for typical Gyros it's 1 to 5 tons (with 5t being rare).
