Back in the MPBT days it was the Assassin. It had the speed and the firepower to disrupt the opposing lance from the rear while your lance mates came in from the front. since those days I like the Atlas and the Thor. For all of you that played MPBT on both AOL and Game storm.
I was Apehung [The Falling] and Thor Comstar.
See you on the battlefield

My list always seems to be in flux, but right now...
3. RFL-3C Rifleman: A pair of AC/10s on flippable arms. Heat was never an issue, I could get knock in computer games or piloting checks in tabletop, and it was heavily underestimated. Good stuff.
2. HA1-O Hauptmann-B: Omni with a standard engine, great armor, two ERPPCs and a UAC/20. This one does just about everything right.
1. GRF-1S Griffin: I usually come back to this one. Most people look to the WVR-6M Wolverine as their medium of choice in 3025. I like the LRMs and additional heat sinks on the GRF-1S. Good mobility, armor, weapons, and heat - couldn't ask for more. Great all-purpose mech.

Uziel
Bushwacker
Hellspawn
All are mediums, easily adaptable to many situations, with nice speed. The hellspawn is weakly armored , but its a pop-tart LRM launch pad anyways the way I like to run it.

Damn I can only pick 3?
1. Spector. Nice movement profile, just energy weapons and I took out a Thunderchicken....err... Thunderhawk in one round once. (lucky head shots.) That being said, I've lhad this mech shotten out from under me so many times from loosing a side torso I've lost count. Damn IS XL engines.
2. BJ-O Blackjack Omni. I've also lost count on how many vehicles and mechs I've destroyed with this beastie. A little slow true, but massive firepower for it's weight. And tough.
3. Marauder. So sleek and sexy it's unseen. Not too found of that AC5 though, I'd rather switch it out just about anything, armor, heatsinks, diff weapons....
