Watching NGNG stream - and its usually a stomp when a 10 person group faces groups of 4.
Simple - make max group size 6. And dont allow two 6 person groups together.

and maybe add it so that a team will have to wait for a match in that the other side has at LEAST a team of no more than 2 smaller - so a 6 man team will gave at least a 4 man team on the other side etc.
