...Except I think you've got the cap speed a bit too quick. Is it quicker than it was originally? If so then there was nothing wrong with the original cap times. If not (it's been far too long for me to remember the original capping times) then reducing the current speed by 25-50% should suffice.

When playing assault, I'm getting more matches like I used to in Open Beta where the base is capped almost 2 minutes into the match by enemy lights. I thought the cap speed nerf we had a while ago was to prevent that, but now it's right back where it was, if not FASTER.
Fast cap speed in conquest = good
Fast cap speed in Assault = pls no

i still think the speeds should have stayed the same for a single mech trying to cap and then exponentially ramped up as other mechs joined in.
so if it took like 3 minutes to full cap (full enemy cap to full your cap) as a single mech then 2 mechs would be like 2:30, 3 would be 2, and so on or something of that nature. if you have a lance on there, then sure, let it cap in 30 seconds or whatever.
pretty much it should be pretty darn slow to cap with 1 or 2 mechs.

The values before the patch were perfect, now I have to tick off the Conquest Mode...
Reversing the patch effects on the speed of capturing would solve a lot of grief.
How long does it take to capture one point with 12 'Mechs equipped with Capturing modules? This is beyond ridiculous.

An estimated 20s for one third of the capture-meter? Making it only 60s to fully turn over a point from enemy control, and 40s for making a point "just blue".
Works well, but I'd also be ok with a slightly slower cap speed. What remains, is still having this weird arrangement of the cap points on Alpine Peaks though....
