When I first seen the new AS7-S picture I was excited that head energy slot returned to MW:O. Model clearly have laser lens in right eye.

But when looking at weapon layout I understand this is only visual appearance, not actual option to mount energy weapon in head. Too bad, because I like idea of “eye laser”, and it existed in early days of MW:O.

So please consider adding this to at least one chassis (AS7-S).

No, the hardpoint layout is good as it is.

Even if they limited it to a TAG only slot I would be fine with it...

You will be assimilated into the eye laser requesting faction Egomane

This is exactly the reason for this tread.
I do not think current hardpoints layout is bad or weak. I just think that “laser eye” would look fun/cool. And give some unique feel to this chassis.

+whatever number to get this changed. I think everyone was excited about a laser eye only to be disappointed. That is the only thing I was dissappointed on for this entire patch.

I was pretty excited about having a head-mounted laser like in MW4. Now, don't get me wrong; I love this Atlas! However, the laser eye would be pretty sweet!

It wouldn't be too much to ask to move one of those CT lasers to the head, would it? :)

...On a side note, any chance we can get back our glowing Atlas eyes?

The reason why the Atlas had an eye laser in MW4, is because that was/is the Stock AS7-S3 built in 3062.

Model clearly has a fancy monocle. +10% to whimsy.

Sock loadout of the Atlas S never had a head laser.

Hows this? Add to Command Console: Built in TAG just like the TT C3 Computer. Done. No hardpoint change, and a buff to the Command Console.

the big lens is just sensor housing, just like any other military equipment, manufacturers put their lil touch here and there. Some examples the Russian AK or Chinese one have a few minor differences, the AR platforms are all the same in basic function but Colt, A.R.M.S or even Barrett have some other flavors. same goes for Mechs in the Battletech universe.

I want my atlas A22 lazers. If any one has played table top or P&P, You would rember that the atlas at one point had auto A22 lazers with was ment to keep lights off your back. A few heavy and assult mechs had turrets like this.
