How about a camo spec that changes acording to what map you are dropped into? Being harder to see does actually help in this game.

A decent solution. Since they can sell it for MC it might be included (if also simple to implement technically). I still think camo and maps should be selectable pre match. Get 12 guys together on each side, now we vote for the map, and pick your camo. Really the only thing match maker needs to know is what class of mech you want to run, and could let you modify your selection up until the launch time, or just prior.
For a tactical game that's 80% customization, it seems a major oversight. Then again, if it was a lobby (or server) system, this type of stuff wouldn't matter nearly as much and it'd be easier to integrate or avoid, because you'd know the map in advance of starting.

Change camo after match is known. But, before the match. I'm ok with that.
Camo that can change based on map? No. Might as well go with the Chameleon Light Polarization Shield and blend into your surroundings at all times. Predator style.
