Twolf Nerf Ruined One Of My Favorites..

So I used a build on my TWolf C with 2 UAC10s and 3 med lasers. I could take lots of ammo.

Now with the new patch, I can take 2 tons of ammo with 2 lasers... thats it.

Why is this? Did they lower the tonnage the Twolf can carry? Or am I doing something wrong?

I typically do not build my own mechs, just find builds on the forums, so I'm not very familiar with the small details.

If it's not possible to build my old glorious Twolf, can anyone recommend any dual AC twolf builds?

Gonna guess you are using Twolf-S Side torsos if so they got auto equiped with full jump jets reducing your weigh capacity.

But without knowing your actual set up specifically can only guess.

It would help immensely to show your previous build in a shareable format such as Smurfy mechlab.

If you're using S side torsos or S center torso, you now have mandatory locked Jumpjets, so if you were using fewer JJ before, now you are stuck with a larger number of JJ. You may need to use different pods(with fewer locked JJ) to get the same loadout.

I assume before you were using at least one, if not two, S side torsos. An S side torso now has 2 tons of JJ locked in place.

Here's a quick build I did with no jumpjets: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...11d48f83c2237d2 not ideal, since you were probably using the lasers in the arms and the ballistics in the side torsos. you could also use an S center (with one jump jet) and one less ton of ammo.

You can use just one S left torso (and a prime right) but it still leaves you with 2 locked in JJ which cuts into your ammo supply. Might work if you used 2 UAC5s, 4 ERML, and 2 JJ instead of the double UAC10 build.

Working as intended. My Orions can beat Timberwolves inside 500 meters reliably now.

As others have side you were likely using a the torso from Twolf S which now has mandatory JJ.
The Twolf is now just a Tier 1+ mech rather than a Tier 1+++ mech.

I've been running my Timby with 2 JJ's, 2 LRM15s+artemis and 6 med lasers before the patch, and now with one extra ton of ammo after the patch. Still working as planned.

I still run my laser vomit Prime. Just had to move a laser to the CT slot. Still packs 2 LPL and 4 ERMeds

this, lawl, comits as epic as before, just the extreme AC builds are at least a bit more balanced. Still best chassis around.

Did you use torso mounted uac10s? I think you can get the prime RT for ballistic and use the C right arm for the other ballistic, prime LA for 2 lasers and your Ct laser slot giving you pretty much the same build. I'm just pulling the variant hard points out if memory so the actual variants might be off, but you can still do it without the JJs.

Using the Prime right and center torso and the S left torso you can still do the 2 UAC10s with 5 tons of ammo and 3 medium laser. Just cut down on arm and leg armor for that desperately needed 5th ton of ammo. Also, you will have 2 JJ that are always good on a brawler mech.

Timberwolves and Kitfoxes were not nerfed. They were fixed. Please get facts straight.

by definition its a nerf from when they first came out, whether its a fix or not. Most nerfs, if not all, ARE fixes. Please get YOUR facts straight.
