Greetings fellow samurai!

 

We are the 9th Sword of the Dragon regiment. We have been fighting the enemies of the Draconis Combine for over 18 years, ever since the 22nd Rasalhague Regulars regiment merged with the Tooth of Y'mir mercenary company. Our long history of battles for the DCMS speaks for our commitment to defend our House and our planets. Do you want to be on the forefront of the battles in the Inner Sphere? If so, join us and find the path towards glory!

The past is the past and we are not willing to rest on our laurels! The 9th Sword has entered a new era of activity and competition- we need warriors wanting to be part of an active community that is focused on fun and winning.

No special skills or massive experience needed; we can train the skills but we can't train the attitude. Joining the 9th Sword means that you are joining one of the oldest units in all of House Kurita- we have the experience to make even the greenest of recruits into a warrior worthy of the Dragon! What we need are members that are willing to battle the enemies of House Kurita on any battlefield, in any timezone.

We are competitive but our soul still serves the warrior looking for a unit that has fun in drops. If you are looking for an elitist gamer unit that has strict hours per week of practice required look elsewhere. Our drops are organized but fun, we always strive to have a good time blowing up our enemies.

I am consistently amazed by this group of ours. With professional people from all walks of life, our membership literally spans the globe. Very truly, "the sun never sets on the 9th Sword of the Dragon."

Some members having played together since before mwo.

Once you get to know us you'll quickly see why we are proud of our identity.

When at our best, we are capable of gg's with some of the toughest teams out there. We are but a few pilots short of being at our best more frequently.

Balanced people make for good friends and great teamates. You'll be pushed to do your best with us. BUT you will never be punished for having RL responsibilities.


Though we've enjoyed high attendance most nights of the week lately, you will always find us busy on practice nights.

Practices are T, th, sat. 10 pm EST.

Our EU/oceanic guys conduct a Saturday 6 AM EST practice as well.

I'm currently looking for a unit to join (primarily for CW) and would like to inquire on the player activity for SEA/Oceanic timezones. Currently considering as well a local merc unit, but would prefer playing with a Kurita unit. Would appreciate if you could drop me a pm as I'ld like to know the unit better before committing as well

Greetings 9th Sword! I and my friends (there are 4 of us) have been looking for an active Kurita unit to join for CW. We've been playing together for years and have finally decided to join something larger.
