TMI man TMI!

You work the grease-gun on one mech and suddenly it's called "love'n"...

It's one of those mechs that don't really exist.

The quickdraw is very rare, but people do run it occasionally, while dragons are oldtimey novelty mechs that come out to play for special events. No one runs orions unless they have to.

I did just get rid of my Orions. They were decent in TT as a mini-Atlas, but they just couldn't survive in mwo.

That's sad. You'd think they would've made Kerensky's 'mech choice better. :(

It's funny how the Quckie is always in the crap list... Granted it's huge for it's tonnage and has some glaring hit-box issues.

That said, having invested much time in mine, it's become my work-horse mech and second only to my Ilya, I'm able to provide solid team support and more often than not... I wind up inside the top four damage contributors and usually have at least 2 to 3 kills.

Lastly, strangely enough... It's much maligned as being easy to leg yet I cannot even recall the last time I got legged?

Personally, I'd throw the Dragon on the pyre before my Quickie...

If you couldn't MOD the quickie would you feel the same way?

Nope. I run the -5K with 4 x lLas and all the full weapon mod compliment.

Stock with 6 x mLas it gets hammered as it's not built to brawl. ;)

I am running the Dragons now just because I wanted to see how bad they are and could not resist the mastery bundle to do so, I also ran the Quick draws and have the IV, I would say the Quick draw was far harder to level than the Dragons have been so far and I very seldom run my IV anymore since the JJ nerf. My vote is Quickdraw is worst with Dragon running a close second.

IV4 is the only QD I run, the other variants just seem to be a big target, and light goon fodder!

Well here that may be true, on TT orions are a solid Mech most will drive. Its not as sexy as some but she gets the job done. For a few months I traded in my Battlemaster for an Orion for Joe.

Hmm, I love my ON1-Kl. But the long heavy queues of the last months made me run "real" assaults.

Yeah, first time i saw a Quickdraw I ignored it while it pelted me in the side and spotted for the metric **** ton of LRMs that pounded me ot bits a few seconds later. I honestly thought it was a 40 or 50t medium...afterwards I looked at it in the store.....65t? Heavy......i then felt like a real porker....

I find it pretty funny how a mech called the "Awesome" is so damn bad for the most part.

sad really, cuz besides the Zeus, the Awesome was about the only other IS mech I really liked and woulda considered driving in this game.

And I noticed alot of those mechs had XLs....so is it pretty common that IS mechs have XLs on them?

Results have nothing to do with a good mech. You can have a good game in a locust with 1 ML. That doesn't make it a good mech.

Couldn't agree more. The QKD is a Heavy, but plays like a Medium. You have to adjust your play style to succeed in the Quickie. Keep is fast and mobile. Go with it's strengths and don't try to tank with it. I regularly have 3 and 4 kill matches in them.

The Dragon would be the worse 'Mech for my play style. As far as the Quickdraws goes; I am sporting 3+ K/D Ratio on most of them.
