I'd say it's because you now have an Atlas you haven't skilled yet, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I just noticed this on my Stormcrow and I found this after a Google search. This made me notice it on my Atlai...

Yeah, same bug here. Randomly they appear and disappear, sometimes when I expand the chassis list. Glad I'm not the only one seeing it I guess.

My Thunderbolts have been this way since I mastered them, though my Dragons are fine, that I mastered soon after.

If the first variant of a mech has 0xp, then once a mech is mastered the Icon reverts back to being unskilled.
Long standing bug, which I have reported a couple of times now.

I lost my Atlas mastery wing after selling the RS. I thought having only 2 variants instead of 3 removed it but even when I mastered the Atlas-S it did not give them back.

I have this on multiple mechs, not only the atlas bracket. It's a bug, but really a minor one.

Was hoping for a recipe for Atlas wings to be honest. They're pretty tasty ingame.

btt: yeah, had this on my Dragons too. Seems to be a minor bug.
