as i was reading this i was thinking that why do you care so much about posting on the forms when the game and forms are different they wont have the same server controls and was stated some time ago so even if you cant post on the forms you can still play the game when its out.

Do you see any Customer Service phone numbers? Nope
Do you see any Customer Service email addresses? Nada.
So I've decided I want my moeny back. What's the big deal?
I haven't used the product.

No Customer Service Infrastructure at all. They just brought down 1 Million dollars in sales.
See something wrong with that picture? You fanboy's need to seriously pull your head out.

Why should I have to contact my Credit Card Co and get the charges reversed.

I could see why one would see a difference between a "be billed twice for the same purchace" and "getting a refund for a purchase".

Even then, might be worth to try to send a Ticket in, just in case it works right ?

nope. I was a member of astalavista. Don't know a bloomin thing about computers. You missed my MAC comment obviously.

I did miss that you made both posts.

But why did you say something about pass locking his computer? From the OP, it does not appear that they share a PC, just an inet connection. Although I could be wrong, I seriously doubt it.

AstaLaVista. That's going a ways back. Wee.

Honestly, them charging twice for a single authorisation would've been a fraudulent charge [even if due to a technical error] so they'd be obligated to fix that.

This guy is a troll or an *****.

Hmm....

I am going to buy the 60 or 120 dollar package not sure which yet.

In any event, say I rage quit before the game is released.

I call up Mr. Visa.. Mr MasterCard, or Mr, discovery.. and say something cute.

I'm not satsified, I never received what I was told I would receive or some other smart remark.

They in turn charge it back and bam.... no need to post....

So your just a troll or you've been headshot in a mech once to many.

All valid concerns and reasonable arguments. I'm with you here.

Still with you man. Valid points that cast a shadow!

Okay, here we start to go different ways. Why should you have to? Because of the things you listed above plus the fact you want your money back! It is pretty common practice to ASK for a refund. Not so much to get one, though. Retailers often want to give you store credit or some other way to: keep your money, keep your business, and keep you happy. They also know if you are serious and don't want to play that game you will use plastic so you have some recourse if the bill is invalid.

Also, you just listed a several causes for worry that indicate some advanced slack@ssery on PGI's part. How can you expect bad service and good service concurrently from the same source? You seem torn.

If I'm going to punished for something I didn't do then yes I'm going to hold P.Games accountable.

Ah, the touch stone of the issue! Accountability! Justice! Punishment! Excellent war cries, one and all. Here we see logic being used to justify a forthcoming emotion...

So, in conclusion a hardy go **** yourself to the fan boys.

...and there it is. Less mad, plz! You have had an opportunity to post this well and help others by having it stickied. It will now only help those who use the search function. So, in essence, the gravity well at the bottom of the forum will eat this. + and - 1 internets!

In the spirit of possibly answering the question without trying to be inflamatory, I actually sympathize with you on the lack in customer service infrastructure. It does seem like they are not putting up much infrastructure in that area. I suspect that will change as release date gets closer, but it is a free to play program so I would not expect the world.

As far as the refund goes, have you tried contacting ultimatepay and getting them to issue the refund? That is where the clearinghouse for the founders packs are purchased through so I am sure they can refund the purchase price and undo your founders status in the process.

You know why they don't have a direct support line, because they are based out of Montreal. I think them having a direct support line would be impractical because their main customer base would have to pay international call charges which i'm sure they wouldn't be happy about. That, or they'd have to subcontract a support hotline to an in country company which would cost them a boatload.

Plus why do you need one when you can straight talk to the dev team and have them directly deal with your issue. Personally I'd like to talk straight to the person who will address the issue in the end anyway.

The OP was refering to a Customer Service Telephone Number to Call.

At least thats what I think ive read in his Post.

Also, whatever reasons behind the OP's reason to want a Refund, by Canadian Law he IS entitled to a Refund...

Who knows, maybe one of his roommate/alt accounts/wathever got Betra Access and he got so disappointed on what he saw that he now wants a Refund, right ?

Have the mods ban your friends account. Then have your service provider renew your IP. That'll save you trouble.

Ive been in the OP's shoes with roommates/siblings. I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be able to get a refund.

Gee, I dunno (ie, not bothering to explain what a MAC is. Wiki it if you're not sure, but I'm sure that it would help to understand why my comment was made. You implied I didn't know about home networking, and I merely pointed how hopelessly flawed that thought was. I see no reason to attack your tech knowledge, but I will attack your lack of observation.). i hope you don't fight like you throw insults, or this will be a dull game indeed. ;)

And the Vista's still around, it's just a pay thing now.

That reminds me:

The Founders program was handled by a 3rd party.

You probably should check the activity log->transaction details at the website (or phone system) for whatever you used to buy the founders package, they almost always have a phone number with each transaction to resolving issues with the charge (you'll need the transaction number probably to speed things up).

As rash as the OP's decision is, he is entitled for a refund if he feels he is being treated unfairly (over someone elses fault).

Sure the story is shaky, but you know what?

He hasn't used the product he paid for yet. He should be able to get a refund if he wants.

ouch, feel for ya. a few pieces of advice
1) curb stomp your roommates nuts till he squeals like a hog in a blender
2) call your card company while you can
3) check all facts before throwing hate at the community

hopefully this will show the devs they need to upgrade their Customer service infrastructure.
