Ok,im a new user, and I just started mwo two days ago. My problem is that whenever I log into the mwo launcher,it shows the "Loading mechlab" text and then after about .5-1.5 seconds,it closes the launcher, and it doesn't load or anything. I've tried to open it multiple times, and I've gotten the same results, does anyone have a fix for this?

Greetings all,
Insure that you are running the MWO exe as an Admin,
- If not some of the items required to start the program can not be accessed.
Also insure that you have Dx9c installed, C++ and Net both updated, from the windows site only.
Once all that is updated, installed, check the program again. (insure you reboot after the installs)
- Dx9c will be the most problematic as Win 7/8 will tell you it has a more up to date version installed.
(ignore that and install it anyways, it can't hurt any of the installed Dx11 items.)
Sidenote:
Once the MWO start window is showing, check the top right gear symbol, that's the repair tool.
- You can use it numerous times to check your download and install files to make sure there was nothing corrupted during the DL/install.
Report back with your results,
