My Spider RIP due to overly nerfed weapons, speed, Hit box... and cat pilots rang the bell just like the rest of the Heavy/Assault pilots that just want to alpha strike every shot = 1-2 shot a light. None would equip lighter faster weapons to combat the speed... They just QQ all over forums = Alpha strike/Over Heat and LRM Land EVERY MATCH, EVERY MAP. The loss of the Cat as a good mech = more Clan mechs on the battle field.

I dont think we're going to see more clan mechs. Most of them are already junky when you compare them to IS with IS pin point weapons. . What i see happening is more of the same. Everyone will pilot the same "good" IS mechs and clan pilots will use the few good clan mechs.

I am a smidge disappointed the A1 did not get any arm strengthening, but I bet the C4 and C1 will not be considered only 'support'. On the other hand, this does not stop me from loading on SRMs or Streaks and saying "HAVE AT THEE, VARLET! YaHARRR!!!"

You already have the best quirk in the game.

-50% damage registration from incoming shots.

There's a reason I started doing the "#itsalwaysaspider towards the end of a game, being it's often the last mech alive, and takes everybody forever to kill it because of its warped hitboxes and lag shield.
