well the ML and general energy buffs make a fine read....
but slowing down the already crappy and very limited torso movement will nerf it harder than most might think 8[

Exactly, 1G & HS are acknowledged as a Tier4 and therefore in need of some really nice positives, not the persistance of a crippling negative :|

The list is huge. I don't think posting it in it's entirety is a good idea.

Update: I just checked and the list is 977 lines long, each one being a quirk for some kind of mech.

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I must wait to get back home then ... :(

I feel like if they wanted to continue down that line of thought, they should've at least made them cool faster, or something. If you want to gimp the mech by making it essentially stare at its targets, then give it the ability to do that without just staring blankly.
I wonder if they're still treating it as a "Command" mech, in a game with no real reason to command. Even with the range buff to the MLs, it's not going to do well at range. It bumps up the range to a blistering 324. Oh well. Here's to hoping the next quirk for the BLR is to be able to bash people with your fists.

Neat. Looks like I'll have to switch from the FS9-K to the FS9-A though. I'll be sad not being the only SPL boat anymore though. ;p

Cataphract 3D needed a +20% reticle stabilization boost while jumping, in my opinion. :P

Phew thats a relief i was begining to worry that my awesome 8q was going to be forced into a ppc boat but by the looks of that it's not the case. If that list is accurate ill be quite looking forward to tuesday. As some of my best and favourtite mechs are group 5. Time for annihilation.

In fact i really want to try my pretty baby with this patch looks like its finally getting the love it deserves but no mention of the deceleration quirk though.

Just seen the quirks to the ylw!!!!!! :o

It's not slowing it down further, it's just keeping the nerfs that are in place already. Which still doesn't make sense since it has the shortest torso twist of it's kin. You'd think it'd twist faster since the distance is already nerfed.

doh thanks.... totally missed that is was already -20% 8[

gonna buy some glasses.....

Yup, its pointlessly lame, no one wants the negative and removing it would still just make the 1G & HS BLR's 'ok'.

I have 5/6 Awesomes mastered. I am so happy.

question: If I add on the LRM cooldown weapons module, does that mean my total cool down for LRM 15 on the AWS 8R is now 12.5 + 12.5 + 12 = 37% faster? That's wicked.

Don't forget the 5% Fast Fire mech tree bonus, which makes it 42% in total. ;)

I highly doubt the heatsinks can handle the 60% faster fire rate of Quad LRM15s for long periods of continuous fire, even with the heat reduction quirks.

Thanks for the list.

Some of the quirk combinations are questionable though. For example the Jagermech JM6-A gets AC2 and LRM15 quirks, which are it's stock weapons.

Unfortunately it's pretty much impossible to make an optimized, MWO-workable build out of it's stock without using a ridiculously slow XL engine (talking Direwolf speed here), so even if you want to benefit from all quirks, it might be simply not possible on some chassis.

On the whole I'm pleased with one sharp exception.

The Orion VA is an SRM boat with an AC20???? It's the best heavy LRM platform, and you're making it a skirmisher? Yeesh!

Oh well. I will be probably buying a KTO18 again and am glad I've been practicing with my CPLTs. heh heh heh.

I'm even generally happy with the BLR quirks. There are going to be serious Wubmasters on the battlefield soon.

Don't forget the JM6-A. It has nice LRM15 quirks.

So, the WubShee does indeed get a Wub buff....for the single LPL,. I'll take it.

One strange thing is the fact the 3E gets 10% less E heat VS 7.5% of the 3M. It gets 10% less burn time instead.

I question some of this, like the atlas K that's apparently supposed to be a gauss+PPC sniper. With the gorilla arms, and the waist gun. Yes, yes.

But atlas D got good things, so maybe they'll change the sillier quirks down the line.

Blarg! I had one. Sold it for 2 reasons. Constant death due to side torso destruction and no JJ. Now I run Orions and Catapults and elited them.

Why does PGI hate fluff appropiate weaponry :(
At least the variant has the gauss, but apparently gorillameta requires support for PPC as well.
I didn't know Kurita designers were that forward looking... maybe this is PGIs AS7-1G variant which has been mislabeled all along
