[Bishop Steiner]

Since we have no Archer, that sorta takes Morgan and Salome Kell out of the equation.

Any other likely candidates? Possibly the first Clan Heroes, with Hans Jorgenson and Sandra Tseng would have used IS Mechs, but it seems unlikely.

Speculate.

I hope the Shad hero is good. Would be such a let-down if the posterboy of good mediums had a mediocre hero.


My own fantasy is 3 energy in the LT and 3 ballistics in the RT. It would overall be the best sniper/fire support of the lineup, but the C-Bill Shads would be better for brawling due to SRMs.

well they could go Double Dragon style and release dual Shadow Hawks, though that would be silly since Lori just took over Gray-s ride when he started using the Marauder.

But they could also make more use of the public test server, so it's partially on them. As well as advertising test dates/times everywhere and enticing people to participate.

EvE's SiSi server is up constantly, and they do Mass Tests on it pretty often, giving away free SP for your test server skills if you participate... But then again, most people use SiSi like a prototyping facility, since everything costs 100 ISK. Maybe MWO's test server could be the same? Everything (Mechs included) costs 100 C-Bills, so just go out and test EVERYTHING.

Really the Locust hero just needs a totally swag paintjob. The people that love Locusts are already used to riding deathtraps, so it's not like they'll be crushed by less than ideal hardpoints.

Make it shiny white with a big ass target on the center torso. Hell, I'd buy that in a heartbeat, and I haven't even done the basics on the one Locust I own.

Make the engine give off an externally audible buzzing noise too. One that the pilot can barely hear, but other pilots can hear clearly.

I like the Anansi styled Lolcust Hero idea. It's an omni-purpose Lolcust that can be tailored fairly well towards any playstyle.

Would they lose some income as it stands, yes.
That isn't saying much since currently they are just bleeding whales dry though. Paywalling AC20 quirks for the BJ for example was a bad move that only alienates new players (similar to the age of the Dragon Slayer), especially given that the AC20 build was one of the most popular BJs (brought me back to my MW4 days).
