Wanna Know Why They Call It The Adder?

This mech is a beast if you play it correctly. No one looks at you, I feel invisible, because I'm "not a threat" then you send 20 direct damage to their exposed chests and they explode, wondering why anyone would make a mech so tiny and cruel. When the enemy overheats you can just hold down your flamer and keep them pinned helplessly while your friends rip them up.
Its also the most adorable mech, its like a baby Dire whale.

Imagine if C-ERPPCs weren't gimped for "fairness" and it was 30 damage like it should be.
In MW4 I used the Adder to great effect in Solaris and it has been my favorite light ever since.

Yes, if it wasn't neutered as it is, it would actually be a really scary mech....
As it is, I turned mine in to a Cougar prime, well as close as I can...

I run mine with Quad SRm6+ Artemis quite a fun punch, some ppl just pay the price for ignore the Adder when facing a bigger threat and become obliterated in the process.
Also UAC-10 and 3x med lasers it´s quite a funny combo too, when you need to put pressure on the enemy it can do wonders as long you can place all the ballistics shoots in the right place

The other two, the one I left twin LRM20 arms on, ERML in torsos. it does well; map specific though. Certain maps, having a missile playtform that doesnt take an assault slot on the team is really nice.
the last I put twin LRM10 in the torso, and ERLL in arms. My favorite all around Adder loadout, it keeps pressure on at solid ranges, and can handle fending off lights well enough with twin lasers to do very very well as fire support to a brawler squad. Keep enemy pinned while we advance with both missiles and direct fire long range lasers.
The mechs are under rated, only the tryhard PPFLD crowd and ECM sniperz don't know how to make it work for them. It really plays differently then other lights.

Is this really meant to be special? My Jenner-7F with the predictable 6ML does 30, with max armor, running 135kph.

I think I made it go a little too fast.
If you meant PPFLD, well, there's this joke of a mech...
JR7-F
Which still goes too fast and has more true double heatsinks.

So my Adders shall expect to add to opponent bodybags first, since I have no problem acting as an SRM'er in a slower light!

Just be aware, You cannot play it like an IS mech, gotta play the Kitfox and Adder differently. You gotta use the fat whales and wolves as a bullet magnet while you sneak in and rip people up. Sniper or Support is probably the best loadouts they have.

I admit I'm not going to play them smart; since I plan to play them as SRM'ers!
And don't worry for me, I started MWO with slow lights! So I am undaunted!
