Your Symbol - A personal touch that you created that goes on all your Mechs.

*House Symbol - Bestowed only to those who earn the LPs for it.

*Merc Corp Symbol - Given to main members and those proven worth to wear it.

Weight Class Symbol - A custom symbol that's made for all owned Mechs of that particular weight class.

*House & Merc Symbol can be worn if the Merc Corp is house exclusive and has earned the LPs to wear it.

What other symbols are missing that you'd like to see slapped on your Mech for the world to see?

**I like the personal touch and hope we get nose art I am itching get my nose are painted on a mech again.

*House Symbol - Bestowed only to those who earn the LPs for it.

** Feel this should only appear on house units.

*Merc Corp Symbol - Given to main members and those proven worth to wear it.

** The only symbols that should appear on a merc mech are the unit colors and the pilots nose art if they are flying house colors they have ceased being mercs and are just another house unit.

Weight Class Symbol - A custom symbol that's made for all owned Mechs of that particular weight class.

**Do not care for this idea a pilot needs to learn mech recognition when they learn to pilot if they can not recognize an
atlas at range well perhaps they should be transferred to the infantry:)

I would add the unit insignia to the symbols ie the regimental symbol in the case of mercs this may be the same as the company symbol but some of the Merc Corps field multiple Regiments and each would have regimental colors.

Nose art for a catapult would be nice. Not sure if they'd let those be customized or just pick from an assortment of prefab decals. Could be some purchase DLC perhaps?

Here's another thought... What about purchasing decal locations? They give you one or two and you can select where and what you want to use, but if you want more you shell out another $2-$5 so you have 3 decals to work with. This way you can mix and match, I want my house and my unit... or my personal and my house... whatever the combination might be.

While a personal symbol that could be created from scratch would be nice for the artistically inclined, I think it should cost some money to pay for any screening process that Devs would have to setup for ensuring that vulgar/obscene symbols aren't created.

One poll option that you left out was a Corporate Sponsorship logo. I'm not saying we should turn our mechs into giant roving billboards like NASCAR, I certainly wouldn't mind getting some extra C-Bills if I could post the logo of a company like Lustrix Commodities, which could promote their new Terran & Turin bull crossbreed animal.

@ RenegadeMaster - LOL I can't believe I didn't think of that... I basically do that as a side business...

As for the Unit symbol... since you're not necessarily going to be fighting along side the same guys every single engagement... What if the Unit symbol changes every battle depending on who the commander is? You choose a commander symbol that gets displayed on everyone under your command during that particular engagement.?

Idk but there is some sort of pride involved having your own symbol for the dirty dozen or so. You could consider it an addon to the regimental symbol if you like. It's quite common to my knowledge.

Are you talking about elite units within a house? I see the Unit symbol working just fine for a merc corp, but for a house it may be a little tricky. They have talked about "unlocking" unit skins and such with LPs.

Aye, that is one consideration. The other is that it doesn't just happen to House/Elite units, but also Mercenary units. One of the examples I'm talking about is the Black Widow Company, which is part of Wolf's Dragoons, a legendary Mercenary unit.

  • LocationMWO needs a Black List function. Add a pilot to the Black List and you'll never be matched with that person again. Stops Griefers, TKers, and Cheaters alike.

All of the above! And I know it will never happen but I'd pay to have a pink Hello Kitty plastered across my Atlas's head.
