I still wonder why there is still no mention at all about those things, even a "hey check out the news on IGN or whatever..." would satisfy me actually...

the pulse laser looks good but the Gauss rifle sound fx is a bit strange Oo sounds more like a retro laser gun to me^^

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, then my bet is on that actually being a PPC...
In which case, I think the FX is appropriate...

Looks like we see some guys getting slammed by PPCs, they look great. Gauss does have a weird sound effect....I LIKE IT! Pulse lasers seem kinda neat as well.

Nope, at about 0:59 that's without a doubt a Gauss being fired. Effects are a bit weak IMO, but I'll first have to fire the thing myself before judging

I suppose you're right!
I mean yeah, it sounds a bit wierd, but then again, what would a gauss-rifle sound like?
You could argue that the slug would create a sonic boom which you could hear, but the gun itself...?
I kinda doubt it would make any noise...

The gauss rifle is a small white blur, fires twice in the first combat scene (0:54 and 1:00).

And agreed that it doesn't really sound like a gauss rifle. The *pew* doesn't fit. Should be more of a sharp crack with a bit of a rumbling boom mixed in.

I was watching the Weapon groups and as this silver flash came and this "ziuuuuu" strange sound came on, the Gauss rifle went into loading reticle. so I think it was the gaus.
