The Founder's mech includes a lifetime c-bill bonus.

There's NO information on whether or not that is a "unique feature" to the Founder's mechs.

It will likely not be. They've already dropped info on possible future premium mechs.

I'll admit that I don't recall reading that anywhere. Was it in the Dev Blog?

Assuming that XP is assigned to a specific chassis, the subscription will still give an XP bonus that will apply to any chassis you pilot.

I don't recall where this was gone over, I think it's in the dev blog about role warfare. You earn xp on a particular chassis and then once you've earned enough unlocks on a chassis it unlocks pilot points you can then spend in the pilot trees.

If my interpretation of that is wrong someone please correct me !

Not been silly but isn't it a shame that they couldn't even be assed to give founders pack buyers something physical in the psst, like a little miniature Mech model or a poster... Would have been nice, sure the things more of a "we support you" from the fans , but $120 for digital items. Yeah i want them but even the original battletech game on the C64 has a limmited edition model if you were one of the first players to find the hidden mech ingame.

I like the idea of this but am concerned how having an atlas at the start will stuff up the whole system.

They've stated that progression on any mech should move about the same pace.

So my guess is that Atlas's may earn more xp by getting more kill shots but their unlocks may take more xp?

Conversely I'd be more worried about the guy who is awesome at getting last hits as a Jenner who doubles the expected xp rate :P.

I remember reading that, but I interpreted "chassis" as Light/Medium/Heavy/Assault. I'll go back and reread it. Maybe it is per specific mech.

Thanks!

allot of people had the xp and cbill listed as on the founders mechs it started to stick in my head as well. but yet it was never listed that way by PGI. I have seen nothing that has confirmed how xp is going to work and think that is all speculation.

Going back to the point of will the founders mech c-bill bonus be exclusive, I personally doubt it. I think it's pretty likely they will sell premium mechs that offer this c-bill bonus later (they probably will be different mechs and probably won't get the same paintjob though).

Refering to xp, their are 2 types of xp. The first type is for your chassis (although it is actually tied to you as the pilot, so even if you buy 2 identical mechs you will have the xp perks that you have unlocked for both of them). Essentially you the pilot learn how to use that particular model to it's maximum, the mech itself isn't upgraded. The second type is your pilot xp, this basically helps you unlock bonuses to your role (i.e. you have more advantages/options to being a scout or assaulter or commander). As I understand it you get pilot xp by unlocking a certain number of chassis xp (sort of like tiers).

To progress to Elite level 1 you have to buy and level up all the variants as well as the prime chassis of a particular mech.

This is not making any sense. I'm sure it was mentioned that the mechs would give both c-bill and XP bonus. Why else would they say sorry if they never said that?

It makes perfect sense and is common to other games with similar business model. You're just not thinking it through (or don't want to think it through).

I do not remember ever seeing Founder's Mechs getting an XP boost. I was working under the assumption they had a c-bill boost this entire time, and I am not one to pass over details on something I'm dropping $60 on.

As for whether the c-bill boost will be unique to Founder's, I doubt it. Russ stated the value of a Founder's Mech was around $15 for the purposes of pricing the Founder's packages. Though I can't confirm this, he may have been implying that other c-bill boosting mechs might go on sale later. That said, we do know the Founder's mechs are only going to be sold with these packages. Once they're gone, you can never get one again.

Why did you necro a thread that has nothing to do with what you just posted?

Are you piloting a Trial 'Mech? 0 xp gotten, even if you "earn" it doing stuff in matches.
