there are plenty. Old splat build still works just fine, and so does any laser build.

Think you just need to buff your piloting skills sunshine. The Twolf is still awesome. My Laser vomit even still has room for an Active probe!

oh how i love how all the bad players now have to get their skill up to play clanmechs....
no more easy wins for you.
the IS came back for revenge and only the strong clanners will survive.

do you honestly believe that having a timberwolf jump is useless? I would re-evaluate what part of the you + timberwolf equation is the useless part

U MAD BRO?

The Timber Wolf S is still doing wonder for mine. The fixed jump jet give me additional moniblity that I get used to.

Your toy is till a good toy, just adapt to the new rules and quiet your baby cry.

They're in the Side Torso omnipods because that is where they exist in the lore.

If you scroll down through this link, it shows all the loadouts for common or well known Mad Cat variants...

I do. I never wanted JJs on my T-Wolf build. Now, thanks to the fixed JJs in the TBR-S side torsos I have valuable tons and slots wasted on something i never wanted on my mech, it also doesn't help much that you can barely clear 20 meters with them.... PGI should have put them in the legs of the TBR-S(and leg Omnipods) instead of the side torsos.

you have no idea how much JJ can be a total win.. i wish i had some on my QKD but i gotta wait for the grasshopper to have them :P
my QKD simply has no space left for JJ.
most people even throw it out of a huginn... i never seem to understand why. they saved me so many times and made me kill so many enemies....

but thats if you have enough map awareness ;)

I am not really sure how this subject is still relevant, the "nerf" is not brand-new as of the last patch.

Seriously, either learn to use the JJ, use a different OmniPod, use a different 'Mech entirely, or stop playing. Problem solved.

Mr White NLD, that would be incorrect, many of the Clan mechs have fixed jump jets and fixed heatsinks. They are also less customizable than the IS mechs, so the very principle of OMNI-mechs is ruined in this game. It is absurd what MWO did to clan mechs (Omni-pods). If they didn't have a plan to deal with them properly as intended then they shouldn't have launched them in the pathetic capacity they are in.

I do understand how good JJs are, I use them on mechs that I want JJs on like my Kit Fox. I built my Kit Fox to be a scout/close range support with ECM, 3 AMS, tag and Mlasers. Thing is, when PGI introduced the whole "fixed jump jets" thing. I was fine with it at first because the fixed JJs were in the legs meaning i could still mount the ammo needed for 3 AMS to be useful for more than 2 seconds. PGI should have put the jump jets in the TBR-S leg Omnipods instead of the the side torso omnipods.

no they done what was correct in case or lore. now you can like it or not but thats what you get from lore. if you want to be prepared for that stuff you might want to read up the lore from each mech you play.... or just adapt. in my case i dont even use AMS on my mechs...
simply because i get spammed so hard by lurm's that its still useless in my gameplay while JJ seriously help with it.

i had to rethink my QKD build as well, a mech that done 28 alpha and barely overheats with std engine become something with 50alpha and overheating problems if i overdo it with the ppc's which is not even necessary due to the closerange supportweapons on it. i could fully rely on them since they have more damage than the 2 ppc's :P

just think a bit farther outside your normal gameplay, rethink the whole thing and built it anew.

but dont get as fail as that TBR that had nothing but 2 ER PPC's.....
