What's not clear is whether the "total matches played" refers to the top 50 players or the entire population. FRR for instance played 4,284 matches. If that's achieved by 50 players, then the avg top 50 player played 86 matches. I personally played 51 matches, I'd be interested to hear how many matches our other top 50 players played to see if I'm making the correct assumption.

Mercs in that case would have 120 matches per top 50 player. I don't think that the top 50 Mercs played 39% more matches, I think they had 39% more people playing matches.

Very good question & interesting observation. Space mead is wrecking it's havoc on me today...

BTW Tarogato, congrats on what is a tenative 7th place finish! Well done. What unit are you running with within FRR?

Well PGI has stated that it is only the top 50 players, all the math also supports PGI's statement that it is only the top 50 players. there isn't a shred of evidence that is any other way.

So I am baffled by all the denials that it is just the top 50.

Oh, well then. Oops. But where did they state this?

either the merc corp consists of less than 600 people who each played just 10 games and won every single game. or even far less than that, of course that would also mean that the top score for the faction should be less than 500 total.

But the highest top 15 score is 3236 and the low is 2919 giving an average score for their top 15 as 3000+.

3000 x 15 = 45,000 points for the top 15 alone. the total score is 144.244, which I will round to 145k - 45k =100k points divided by 10 games gives us 10k which means if 35 people it was an average score of 285.

It is most certainly is not the score and number of games played by all members of a faction.

Oh thank you! I missed this post earlier. I'm actually without a unit, I've been lonewolfing it, but I've been looking to try out some FRR units. Can never find a good time to hop in.

Well, from 1st hand experience I can say that 1st RDR, Iron Serpents, and 1st Hussars are all an excellent group of individuals. But I'd be remiss if I did not put a plug in for our own unit, the Isengrim. Drop in on teamspeak anytime and give us a test run in pick up matches. Actually, send Mech the Dane a mail (in outta town till Fridayish).

See you soon.
