Anyone experiencing lag issues recently? I am having dificulty playing but I am not sure if it's a connection problem. It feels like my mech has hickups, suddenly being a few meters from the last postion and facing in another direction . It is worse in faster mechs so I am wondering what might be the problem.

If you are sure ur connection is fine and stable the, reason is...

the MWO servers just suck !

On weekends it's nearly unplayable for me.
System is fine min. 80 fps, connection is ok too, but many problems with Hitreg, sometimes desynchs and other strange happenings...

I've been experiencing this problem since Monday morning. It's been driving me insane. My ping would go from 50s to upwards of 2,000. On a whim, I installed Mechwarrior on my wife's computer and lo and behold, no lag. Jumping back and forth I've decided it's not a connection issue at all.

After doing -A TON- of troubleshooting, I ended up uninstalling and re-installing the "KillerSuite" for my network card and so far that seemed to do the trick.

I've been forced by said wife to stop playing tonight, but if my luck continues I'll post again about it.

Link to the software... If you have this network card, try reinstalling.

Don´t go crazy about it, not much we players can do besides checking our side of the setup :(

Rest assured, many of us have been playing for a long time and encountered these problem since introduction of HSR (host state ewind) .
Hopefully someday PGI can unscrew that whole thing and give us something more reliable than we have right now, but until that day arrives finally, BE BRAVE !

Unfortunately, it must have been a fluke. It's worse than ever now.

I'm sure my issue is a specific one, but I had to buy a new wireless card.

Once installed, ping has returned to normal. Such is.

@valfo confused, did you fix the problem or not?

well, i get ping spikes up from an average 120ms ping to 400, 500 or 1000ms no idea why and i dont see those spikes on the other players in my team so i guess it's me

edit: i think i found the culprit, Skype and some background program for my SSD. thread closed :)
