So I find myself in a strange spot for a TT game tonight...

My usual group is being joins by two new guys, and we're going to be running in teams, 3 a side.

Now the problem I find myself in, is my Supernova Trinary would eat two new guys alive, my IS C3 company would do the same...

On one hand I think I should hold back, and on the other I think I would be doing them a disservice if I held back....

Thoughts?

Do these new guys know that you are playing competetiv?

Why not roll up a new unit and play with that? You could be as competetiv as you like and might actually be challenged by playing something you are not used to and they won't get the feeling that you went easy on them.

So I ran a LAM company...

6 Wasp LAM Mk 1 WSP-100B
3 Stinger LAM STG-A5
3 Phoenix Hawks PHX-HK2M

And I blew both of their minds... On one of the missions we ran had an extraction condition for a VIP, and I just dominated that game...

Should have used a reinforced company of Savannah Masters with some Saladins backing them up...

Didn't need to, one had a mixed company of heavies and assaults, nothing faster that a 4/6 the other ran a mixed force, than just couldn't deal with air support... So my LAMs flew circles around them both...

Yeah, getting those modifiers is tough, depending on the rules sets heavies vs lights almost always favors lights...

Even more so, when those lights can act as Aerospace fighters...
