Sketch of my personal HBK-4G, (TT) customized to suit my style

Posted Image

The personal ride of Bishop Steiner as of 3049. Upgraded with Ferro Armor, allowing for the left torso magazine to be C.A.S.E protected. Also added were 10 Double Strength Heat Sinks, freeing up enough tonnage to add an extra ton of reloads for the custom 185mm Chem-Jet Autocannon (in place of the rapid fire Kali-Yama that is normally carried, this fires a single, massive shell, instead). Additionally, the unloved Light Laser in the head was upgraded to a Medium Laser, and 4 Luxor 2/Q Jump Jets were added, giving the 'Mech a 120 meter range. Lastly, it has been upgraded with experimental Triple Strength Myomers, allowing it to run nearly 20 kph faster and making the myomer musculature twice as strong while running hot. After Operation Bulldog, it would also be re-built with a clan tech 250 XL engine salvaged from a Smoke Jaguar Nova, and ECM, though at the expense of the special myomers.

The torso/head section (minus hunch) reminds me of the Spider somehow. Still looks sweet though ;)

they are a bit similar, actually.

And since I intentionally slimmed down the usual barrel profile of the torso, probably more so. (Did it, because it actually has a ton less armor on my version, and the Ferro gives it a slightly different profile)

I really like the quirks we have on the HBK now. I would love to see an HBK with jumpjets on top of the quirks. Insane.

Thought for sure you would have "upgraded" to a IIC Hunchback, for a can opener....

My last IS chacter went from a WHM-6R, to a Warhammer IIC after bulldog.

only way to make a HBK IIC worth it is by basically ripping off one of the ACs..... so why bother? The thing has no ammo or armor, and no room to add either.

True, but that first mech you get into range is dead, if you can land both ultra shots!

Even if you rip off one of the UAC 20's, that still leaves you with a cUAC 20 to work with....

yeah, was never much a of a monty hall gamer. Same reason the mech never got Endo in TT..... replacing the entire structure is just no really feasible.

My WHM-6R only had three things done to it, DHS, the MG's became AMS and I added CASE. Everything else counting armour, engine and structure stand standard. She fought hard, but was felled against a Bloodnamed warrior in a Fire Moth....
