Just noticed that the ER LL is not subject to the quirk as described.

Test: Fired both at the same time. Right ER LL, left LL

No sure what we are suppose to see, since the screenshots are so, small.

Are you expecting them to have the same duration or something ?

As Shin pointed out. The ERLL has a longer beam duration than the LL, that's the tradeoff it makes alongside the increased heat. I don't think there are any current buffs that can make an ERLL have less duration than a LL, especially considering the often split buffs that speed up the LL at the same time.
