actually, I think it means PGI is charging way too much of color/camo.

If they did not make it a $10 exercise to paint your mech, maybe more people would buy into it?

How about for $1, you can put any camo/paint on your single mech? I got 40 mechs, that's decent monetization IMHO

Just means people won't spend a ton of cash on colors. All of my mechs are green.

So... because some people aren't willing to pay exorbitant amounts of money to paint their 'mech's, you're gonna loose?

That makes sense..

No, the rest of the screen would be blacked out, the subject of the picture would be partially blacked out, and the entire thing would be covered in so much marker that you'd get stoned by being in the general vicinity of it. Not to mention that you'd barely be able to discern what exactly the green sections belonged too, due to the placement of the censors.

THAT is how a paranoid government agency would roll. ;)

Every match I count the number of "low tier" mechs on my team to get a mental picture of how good of a chance we stand.

I think all green or black is the smarter choice, fancy paint jobs get shot at more. Also feels it's slightly easier to hit parts that are like bright red or white bulls-eyes on the ct.

Pick a solid non "Hey shoot me color."

I blur out my loadouts if I don't want them known. Very thoroughly I might add, in case some smartass decides to try to reconstruct the image.

I totally agree with this...

When I paint my Stalker all up like a clown just learning to do his make up... I do tend to have a team focus on me.. if I put stock paint I can manage to blend with the pack and not get shot as much... go figure

When you see green mech, that actually means, that this is:
1) Newbie
2) New mech
3) Trial mech
4) Player, who don't care about this game
5) Player, who can't afford 0.56$ to buy single-time camo and 3$ to buy some colors (i.e. child?)

In all cases you know, that this player will most likely underperform. And, therefore, when you see, that the whole your team looks like this and when you're losing again, again and again due to this - then something is definitely wrong with MM.

nah son, I call basic green my "noobie camo" - how many times have you underestimated an otherwise drab opponent during a fierce brawl?

That is, without a doubt, the absolute, most ridiculous thing I have heard regarding this game & its players. If you truly feel that way way about people who are unwilling to pay stupid amounts of money for colors/camos, I think you may have other issues...
