Sent. I hope there's a better solution than downloading the whole game again... Im sitting on over a 2 hour download time.

no command console. it reverted back to base installer and installing from 1.7.7

I ran the command you posted above, and will PM you the results.
I'm trying to run the repair tool from a previous download of it. IF that works I'll report back here.

Close down your client, run through the steps below, reboot your system, and give the client another shot.
1. Press Windows key + R to open the Run window.
2. Type cmd and hit Enter.
3. In the command prompt window, type:
4. ipconfig /release and hit Enter.
5. ipconfig /renew and hit Enter.
6. ipconfig /flushdns and hit Enter.
For good measure, please also change your DNS settings if you haven't already.
Using the information provided either by OpenDNS (http://208.69.38.205/) or Google (https://developers.g...-dns/docs/using) please apply either of these DNS settings to your system.

This is ridiculous. I tried it again for good measure and even rebooted my PC
Game unplayable.
Edit: 2 repair tools later and I was able to stay in a game. Ill see how long it lasts
