Apologies if this is the wrong section for this, I couldn't find one more suited (Please feel free to move if you want)
I have been curious about how the mechs are sized and haven't found an ideal way to compare them when googling for it, so today I decided to make my own little webpage to compare them:
http://ecogamer.co.uk/MechComparison/
Posting here as I think it could help others.
Not sure if I will be updating with the newer mechs, but could if I get curious again/people seem to want it I might do at some point.
Cheers,
-Kiblams

Great!
I have added some more mechs and also a way of sharing comparisons like this:
http://ecogamer.co.uk/MechComparison/index.php?Mech1=Light - Commando&Mech2=Heavy - Catapult&Mech3=Heavy - Dragon
Thanks again!

The mech sizes or the way this forum handles URLs with spaces in them? (I have now fixed the URLS so they will work on here)

Yeah when you look at the Hunchback, Kintaro and Shadowhawk together like this:

it really looks crazy to think they are all mediums and now heavies.

First of all: nice idea, it gives you a perspective not easily caught in game.
Then, a notice: the Mist Lynx appears to be broken... no, not the 'mech (sadly, we all know about that! ), I mean the image doesn't show in the comparison.

Many thanks for your kind words and the bug I have fixed the mist lynx now.

Think of it this way: the Hunchback is short and fat with a wide torso and a big, really easy to hit Hunch. Its design makes it better suited to support and skirmish tactics, flanking and the like. The Shadow Hawk is tall and thin with a very narrow profile and a much, much smaller hunch. This makes it far more effective at going hull-down for long-range engagement and using its height to bring its firepower to bear while keeping the majority of the mech obscured behind cover.
