Is this the same MWO Community from like 8 months ago? I haven't seen a single Cash Grab/OP/DOA/Blame PGI for Global Warming Post yet. I know its early but I'm kinda frightened.

Not exactly sure what was done to the spider hitboxes. It would be nice to see the clan quirks too.

A lot of us have been saying for years now, treat the community well and it will treat PGI well back. Lie to the community and treat it badly, surprise surprise, it becomes toxic.

No, PGI is still not perfect, but I think it's pretty obvious to everyone how things have started to turn around since September. There's been a lot of progress since then, both on the game and towards just making the community a better place to be. Russ has more or less disappeared from the forums again, but at least Niko is gone; and we're still getting town halls, as well as more posting from other members of the MWO team.

Props for the early patch! As noted earlier, it really make sense to get all this stuff out of the way before CW.



Another vote to see the changes to the hitboxes on Spider and Firestarter.

I know everyone complained that they couldn't leg them - yet I got legged seemingly easily.


PS - I *am* a bit disappointed that we can't buy the KC variants for cbills for another month plus. Means we won't be able to Master our reward KC in the meanwhile.

PPS - Also dissapointed that the Awesomes (9M and PB especially) didn't get a quirk pass. They need some of the old quirks back.

I'll wager either structure/armour (due to being huge) or the natural choice of heat buffs.

It's too much to hope for U omnipods, or even the A/B stuff. Already modelled ST M and E hardpoints, that aren't in the game. The U offers a Jesus Box and 8 MGs, instead of 4 from the S. That would be a nice buff.

Thanks for finally removing those statues in River City.
It was probably the single most rage inducing map detail since closed Beta because of the sheer amount of people getting stuck on them and getting killed due to that.

Good Riddance ******* status! :)

Well, change to quirks is touchy... I've unlocked/paid SRM/4 modules for 2 Centurion and now they have been nerfed but are no more restricted to SRM/4 so I don't know what to think.

All I can say is that I'm so glad I didn't buy a DRG-5N this weekend! I don't own any but was attracted to the AC/2 quirks as I don't have a single Mech using AC/2 so I thought he was perfect to gice AC/2 a try and pilot a new mech... but and now I see it no more have AC/2 quirks and lower ballistic heat-generation is totally gone. Seriously I would have been really pissed if I had bought it and unlocked/paid modules to go along but I'm fine.
