There seems to be this idea running around that you should leave the gates be and just defend Omega...

If this isn't obviously a bad idea to you, read on. (If it is a terrible idea and you know it, you may move on to another thread.)

The enemy does not have to kill you to win. They need only kill the generator. If you let them to Omega to fight them there.. they are not going to kill you, they are going to kill the generator and win anyways.

KIll them at the gates.. make them take longer to get the gate down and make them take losses there. (Puts time on your side, and preserves your turrets for pushes.)

So next time someone says "Defend Omega, leave gates be." Tell them to stuff it, defend the gates, and go check the clan section of the forums for why.

Not much of a trade secret when it's blindingly obvious to anyone with two brain cells to rub together.

(also, letting my contract run down atm, probably going to bolster the kitty cat's numbers, so don't worry about me going to the IS telling them all about Livewyr's insights )

well don´t worry, this secret truth is secret knowledge in the inner sphere as well

(by "secret" i obviously mean there are not many people who seem to know about it xD)
