The Stinger and Wasp would likely already be in the game if not for a company holding the rights onto them. PGI won't attempt to acqure them because it would be too expensive for them to do so.

The Flea was announced long ago, but it uses something known as "MASC". Long-story short on that, PGI hasn't made any functional MASC yet, and PGI hasn't been willing to release a MASC mech without it, which is why the Flea, Shadow Cat, and a few others aren't in the game. Russ mentioned before in a Town Hall that he has considered releasing MASC mechs without MASC, and that they'd probably try to pin it down in the future after CW. We should see it someday, optimistically by mid-year 2015.

The Dasher *cough* Firemoth *cough* is very likely, as its one of the most requested Clan mechs, as well as one of the few remaining Clan Lights circa 3050.

god damn the firemoth is soo ugly. I want to cry every time I see it. Not like the Urbanmech who is a beautiful kind of ugly, thing is just silly looking. Gonna have to get my whip out of my timberwolf and go after the designers of that mech.

The dashers arms are ridiculous. For that reason with my table top Mini I said the heck with it and re-positioned them in a normal set up. Changed it so much it looked good for a change.

But I would love to see the Wasp and Stinger in game. I know we'll never see the Unseen version or the Operation Phoenix versions, but PGI could easily come up with something.
