Any of them are good, just pick the one you like the best.

The Mad Dog is at the lowest weight for its class, but has a ton of missile hardpoints, so it makes a good streak or LRM boat. Pure SRM builds are a bit hot, but possibly doable.

The Hellbringer is a little hampered by its lack of endosteel, but otherwise seems like a solid heavy mech, and the only heavy with ECM, so take it if you like ECM.

The Gargolye also is at the lowest weight of its class, and has somewhat limited hardpoints, but it moves quickly for an assault. Seems like it could be good choice for keeping up with a group of timberwolves and stormcrows, although I have not used it yet.

Basically use whatever mech suits your personal playstyle. For me, I prefer the Mad Dog, but have both it and a Hellbringer in my drop deck.

hmm oka

thing is...i have not seen gargoyle in CW yet..so i am a bit worried about getting it and then finding out its just some extra armomr that it brings up

mad dog is one mech i am think to get.. so that i can run it as an lrm boat along with 2 Timbers in my deck

Hellbringer as i have not much info about it when comes to weapons i am not sure..cause i want to run it something with carrying ballistics...so my deck with hellbringer (which i hope) will be

1 TImber.. meds and uacs 5
1 timber with lrms
1 hellbringer with (something)
1 light

Hellbringer, because the madcat does what maddog can do and hellbringer has ECM.

Alternatively M.O.W. if you want a clan victor without JJ.

GAR-D

This is a Clan wolf's Gargoyle that was used by a clan wolf player. We invaded a planet, Our enemy was comprised of lone wolves and where easy to defeat, exept for that one guys Gargoyle that appeared out of nowhere, fired a 56 alpha, and then ran away. The speed allows it to quickly intercept enemy zerges while it carries the armour of an assault to actually survive the encounter

Don't take Gargoyles. For 5 ton less you can have a Timber Wolf has efficient (if not more) compared to the Gargoyle.

Personatly I use:
- 1 kitfox prime (I) AMS+ECM
- Mad Dog prime
- 2 Timber Wolf (Prime & C)

240 of Tonnage. And enought firepower to take down most of the mech I see.

That surprises me. A firestarter can use that (8ML) but be 50% faster, 50% smaller (admittably with also almost exactly 50% less armour and 50% less sustainability).

8 IS ML= 40 alpha
8 Clan ER ML= 56 alpha

also longer range. Also firestarter is OP

I currently rely on Mad Dog, Hellbringers, Stormcrows and Novas. But others use anything from a Daishi to an Adder. See what works for you.
