I don't think they'll nerf them much, if at all. I've seen so many "nerf the clan mechs, they're SO OP" threads now, even just counting the ones since CW started, and they haven't been touched.

Been using my 9S for the last several days. Its nice being able to actually stand for 2 volleys against a Mad Cat. Course after that I am light up like a christmas tree, but at least I did some damage.

Thunderwub SuperSport is a hell of a loit of fun, and it's amazing to have something that can go toe to toe with a Clan Heavy mech with an IS standard engine

Which would mean that the actual OP mech in this case is the T-bolts, not the Stormcrow/Timber Wolf.....just saying.

You quoted a pretty severe over statement. Nothing decimates SC/TW formations.

They're also pretty wide, so it's hard to miss them. Apply damage directly to the forehead and they come apart like any other mech.

The 9SE and 5S aren't there yet.

There is a 4xLPL build for the 9SE that is not awful but you'll have to use an XL, and there is an ok alpha build for the 5s that is tolerable also 2xsrm6a, 3xml and an ac10. But yeah these 2 variants aren't as nice as the others.

You have to learn when to push and when to pull back with them... Also, remember they have wide profile so practice shield arming in a Centurion to perfect torso twisting PRIOR to buying...
All in all, I still own them all, everyone mastered and totally my favorite IS heavy.

They may nerf the 9S a bit. They already nerfed the 5S a bit for heat, but it wasn't much.
My guess would be that there won't be major changes to the T-bolt quirks, but it is possible there could be some small changes to any extreme quirks to just be very good quirks.

If you use them, you can tank like mad.
The 9S with triple ERPPC for 22.5 heat? is pretty nuts.. could use some tweaking.
5SS medpulse feels pretty good now, runs pretty hot, good brawler.
Only seen a handful of 9SE's playing, but they seem to do pretty well.
Really haven't seen any 5S at all, dispite having dual ballistics and some pretty nice laser quirks.
After these quirk passes, all the thunderbolts are in a pretty nice place IMO, they were never "bad" mechs but more or less in the mediocre bin.
