I'm having a hard time deciding what 'Big' to take in my drop deck.
They seem too slow to battering-ram brawl up because the lack of speed is tough on unit cohesion.
Builds please.
Cheers,

I run my wubmaster lately. 1 LPL 6 mpl and decent speed with standard engine, if you want it to go faster use xl.... + it do not eat up too much tonnage in the drop ship. then again it could be worth it to just run 3 heavies + a light

You can always run:
65 ton │ 50 ton │ 30 ton
65 ton │ 55 ton │ 50 ton
40 ton │ 65 ton │ 80 ton
70 ton │ 70 ton │ 80 ton
If you wish to fully optimize your drop deck, consider your play style, map / terrain / objectives (attack or defend).
Basically Invasion game mode favors mechs like the:
Thunder Bolt 9S with a STD Engine and 3 ER-PPCs
Dual Gauss what ever can carry it with enough ammo
An AC20 or AC40 mechs for the "GET OF MY LAWN!!!" moments
Some thing with ECM umbrella to protect your team mates from LRM rain
65 ton │ 50 ton │ 30 ton
65 ton │ 55 ton │ 50 ton
40 ton │ 65 ton │ 80 ton
70 ton │ 70 ton │ 80 ton

5m stalker 5 lrm 15,s 8 tons ammo 5 small lasers 4n stalker 4 x large laser 2 firestarters as rushers
the 9s thunderbolt 3 er ppc's is going to become a staple 3 65's 1 45 vind/bj
1 85 2 65 1 25 commando 2 ddc's or krabs and 2 locusts.....4 60's [quickdraw rush deck] banshees are good to
just 1 thing learn to lurrm a lot only weapon we have that is avaliable to pound clan vermin from cover really, except for energy tweaked boats like the 4n stalker most assaults should have some kind of lrms to use even 5's are good if their following damage allocation rules from paper their allocated in 5's anyway.
me i want the equivilant drop deck space as a overlord dropship which would give us each 9 deck slots

unit coheasion is a matter of experience and leadership but in mw here experience is a factor bigger than leadership in open games......learn the map watch what people do on the map try to stick with the most likely effort per drop even if it seems silly because you get some great wins that way learn the map learn the map you know what the deal is do it shouldent have to be told game after game what to do. ball up - give em the Boot do not piss on them. kick them harder as nessary.

I've been running VTR/TDR/TDR/SDR lately... but that's because I tend to drop-call, and the Spider lets me scout more of the battlefield personally when I'm on defense.
Still, the Victor's speed profile is fairly similar to that of the Thunderbolts, and its ability to jump buildings during an attack comes in handy.
