So, Moore is up for attack by Marik.

This is cool and all, because we need more planets on which to enjoy the bourbon-marinated spacebacon. Not so noteworthy in its own right.

But that planet belongs to Kurita. It's on the Steiner border. Despite Davion's best efforts to donate planets (:P) to bridge the gap between us and the DC, we don't share a front with them.

Another bug in the algorithm?

I for one advocate we do not for one second consider violating the Kaptyn Accords. Marik has been nothing if not steadfast in keeping it's word when given once alliances have been formed. I'm sure that most of the people I play with at the FWLM and the Seraphim would agree that we should continue this stance regardless of what glitch shows up.

Of course. Wasn't my intent to break that accord - I think Marik has the only spotless record for not breaking cease fires first. I would certainly hope that one merc's voice (like mine) was not enough to break that.

Just raising the point, as it were.

Actually, we kind of have approval to take it.

If it opens another avenue against Steiner, we use that, if it only opens against Kurita, well, there's a purple dot up there for a long time as long as it doesn't screw one of our other attack corredores

Well, we never really had an in game truce with Kurita since they were so far away. That said, I don't think Kurita needs more fronts to worry about. OTOH, if we can't get drops in with Steiner and Davion, I would rather fight for more Marik planets than defend against the Clans.

The Widows will be mobilizing against Moore this evening, if we can get another half-company or so to assist.

We have already established our new embassy in Kurita space. Moore will serve as a Forward Operating Base in our efforts to assist them against the Clans, and the locus of a new invasion front against Steiner.

If what i heard is true. Planets generating an attack lane cannot be attacked.

IE if Moore is the planet generating attack next cycle. It cannot be attacked by Kurita. So if we take Moore we have it for keeps.

Please for the love of god take Moore

But the good news is that there is only 1 12vs12 on Moore with the ceasfire.. and its at 66%.. We pretty much for sure have it.

Moore is firmly established. With our new forward-deployed outpost, we can now strike at Steiner from a new front, and have a shorter distance from which to push North and assist our Kuritan allies with the Clans directly.

I am rather upset that we took the world and then discovered it's only allowed us to attack our allies. Really?????

Seems like the only way to attack Steiner is if we expand our front with them.. But the only way to do it is through Kurita space

The reason we can't attack both Kurita and Steiner is because one planet can only generate 1 attack. So if we have 2 planets in that space we should be able to attack both Kurita and Steiner. (but we already have a large front generating attacks vs. Steiner so why does that matter...)

Also, if we ever connect the two pieces of purple on the map (IE Moore and mainland Mairk) we will loose the immunity

Yes, and so Moore becomes an embassy or like the Marik version of Canton.

Now serving Cantonese and Teriyaki Bacon with lychees.
