About us -
The origins of the group stem from the core members of CDR Clan Dark Revenant that originated 15 years ago in the MW franchise. With just a few members remaining from CDR, and the original founder not playing anymore a new unit was created.

DERP was chosen by the group for a couple reasons. Some of our members were founders of the same named unit from another game title so this came up right away. Also for those in group who didn't want to be serious or take part in organized drops, the name was not much to hold up and fun having next to your name. Although for the more serious members, when we win its kind of a little extra pun that is quite intended.

We are on a 28 day CSJ contract although I do not foresee that changing anytime soon.

What we are looking for -
We are currently in search of active players from the times of 6pm-12pmCST, yes that's a broad time frame but that when the majority of our ranks are on. Next we are looking for competitive minded and skilled players to fill out our comp group that can make Mon/Wed nights from 8pm-11pm. We don't mind you bringing friends as long as they hold the unit tag in good name. As a whole we look to win as much as possible if not every match but we aren't people who go crazy over not winning, we have fairly good bs sessions in TS as the night progresses. We are trying to put our unit in the best possible position with the best possible pilots that play well together and are consistent with playing the game regularly.

Now as far as joining if interested there are a few things we ask of you -
1. You must have or be willing to run TS (teamspeak). The only exceptions to this are members kids, or if it's just a screw off public drop during the day type of thing. We have DERP labeled channels in both NGNG and StranaMechty that we utilize.
2. We try to remain strictly 18+. Most of our group is ex-military, business owners, and family oriented. Now we are not the most serious group by any sense of the word, but we do not like drama queens. (we do allow members family/kids but do not feel comms may be suitable for them)
3. Skill: We do not expect seasoned pros. However we do look for skilled players, and for those who are learning would like to be open to criticism, suggestions, and help; in which TS plays a part in. This point sort of goes hand in hand in hand with wanting a few competitive group players.
4. Builds: We don't make you run ppc/gauss if we are in group, although we do not and will repeat do not like lrms. We like having a group of similar builds if at all possible so that's something we can talk about as well.
5. We are a clan unit, so that means you need clan mechs. This means not just one mech unless you are able to purchase more.
6. We do have a website, however it does not get used much. Our group is very socially active in comms, thus find little need to interact there. So please contact either Invictus359, Mickey Knoxx, or myself of course in game or look for us in TS.

That being said we are willing to accept new members, serious and casual both to fill in gaps we have on both sides. We are primarily NA players, but do have some EU players we wish to expand on later (mainly German speaking).
