yeah he doesn't become chancellor for about 2 years. But maybe at this point hes got some influence enough to be on a poster

Plus it was the best pic of a Liao headfigure i could find haha

True. Also he's a complete badass, becomes First Lord and makes up for a lot of crappy leaders Liao got given before. While they don't go into it in the lore my personal suspicion is that he introduced the Pimp Hat With Rooster Feather as the official Liao Chancellor headgear, cuz, you know. He's a pimp.

Sun-Tzu, in his later years is martyred on Liao- the "Ascension of Sun-Tzu", where it is assumed he perished (including the Sarna entry that lists his demise there in 3113).

The reality is the Chancellor, gravely and incurably ill made his last appearance on Liao, "dies" there as a rallying cry for the nation and is placed in a cryogenic pod, suspended before illness could finish the job. He sleeps on the edge between death and life, beneath the base of the Warrior House re-established after the world was reclaimed from the Republic- watching over the Confederation for eternity.

Because Sun-Tzu is that awesome.
