[Mechwarrior Buddah]

I WAS getting this:



So I uninstalled, deleted the folders, then when I try to reinstall, I the installer asks if I want to uninstall MWO.

I ran cCleaner and fixed all the reg errors, rebooted, retried the installer. Same thing.

Ive run regeddit and searched for mwo, mechwarrior online, etc reg keys, deleted everything (backing up first) still wants to uninstall.

I have two emails in for support with no answers to either for going on three weeks, I got PMmed by someone in PGI and no solutions yet.

I cant even install this game that Ive sunk more than a thousand dollars into, and thats more than a little annoying

Did you reformat? In the previous thread you said you could not even download the Fixit from Microsoft website.

Do you have a harddrive with at least 30-40g of harddrive space? Download and install Window 10 consumer preview.

Do you still have a user folder? Anything listed in the %systemdrive%\Windows\Temp or %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Temp folders for piranha or mwo? Perhaps a new windows profile?

It's a free program that tells you about your hard drive's. I'm betting your HD is a few years old and not a toshiba or Hiatchi. It's very well may be worn down and riddled with bad sectors. If you haven't defragged or just uninstalled and reinstalled, there is a good chance that your just installing it on the bad sectors again. If CDI says your HD is above 95% your fine.

anyone got a windows 10 link? I just keep seeing coming soon

I downloaded 10, installed it, and it STILL wants to uninstall a game that doesnt exist >.<
