Why would you want a Mech that is used by players better than you?

Sorry Lem, I couldn't resist that one! B) ;)

Hellslinger or Atlas-S. Lurms and C-Bill bonus make good buddies. I do not own Hellslinger though.

*edit* Totally ninjaed you, old man. ;)

Get Arrow--the BJ Hero if you like those 45 tonners. Best Dakka Hero is the Murometz. If it is high mounted lazors you like, then Jester is the best.

at the moment the Loyality King Crab - dual Gauss, dual PPC and either STD300 or XL350.

I prefer the XL to be true. Yes you die to side torso loss, but mostly I'm dead by then anyway.

The Ilya can be pretty nice.
But I'd choose a Yen-Lo-Wang or a Misery.

When its hot out you have less environmental heat effects... BUT when its cold, no perk. So Caustic, and Tour have less effect.

I wouldn't use the Locust... But you must have fun in everything you run. Rapid fire sandblasting. Not my style, but I do respect it.

Invasion Variants of Clan 'Mechs. - SCR / TBR / HBR

I bought the Hellbringer a la carte just for the reason that the Heroes kinda suck compared to an 65t Clan/tech ECM 'Mech and as a long term -farming workhorse which will get boring and makes it easy to play solo PUG with lesser frustration rate.

Here are the best builds:

2UAC 4ML
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...1abdcaa2bd07ff4

1LPL 5ML
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...defbefd78688faa

2LL 4ML
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...549ca67cee96119

Gauss 4/5ML
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...2b30404362f2c3f

If you prefer regular Hero 'Mechs, i played +700 battles in the FIREBRAND and it was awesome time:

Best builds:

2UAC 2ERLL
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...0314463bd2058a2

2Gauss 2ML
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...bf28b3f6ef19dc3

JägerBomb
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...c4fa85f0e6b39b3

The EMBER is also quite stronk, and it has shorter queue times ofc because the noobs dont play lights.

Build:

4ML, 4MG, min 4JJs, XL295

These are Champions (bar the Jester) but still get Cbil bonus if you use the invasion ones
I like my Timber Wolf Prime (invasion) so you get the nice bonus, Normally make 320k Cbils (with premium) a round solo
Can grind out 10bil a weekend if your having a good run
Problem being you need to buy either a pack or a la cart at $55

IS wise I like my Jester, play it as a flanking mech and attack already engaged mech's and you will grind out good C bils

and if you have good team, I like to use assaults in the group queue, either the King Crab or Direwolf with Dual Gauss seems to do the trick or huge damage and a good Cbil return. I don't like Assauls in the solo queue due to all the Nascar.

Lastly I swap in to my Stormcrow C if the heavy queue is rather full and can grind out loads of C bils with that.

My preference on load outs is lasers / gauss

its almost unbeatable until you make a mistake, then its dead. the 1E has the best DPS potential (around 12) and good heat.
and it moves like a squirrel on crak.
