Apparently, they will always have Rasalhague.

To be fair, I think the FRR was created specifically to fall in the Clan Invasion. To make the Clan Invasion work out, and be all scary, they had to knock out at least one house. Since the 5 original houses couldn't fall due to the author's (and players') investment in those houses, they need a 'fall guy' for the clans to steamroll.

I know this doesn't offer up an solutions, but then again, in this great BETA experiment of CW, perhaps when (and I think there WILL be a reset at launch) we'll see some other CW model in place. Maybe we'll see more static, post invasion borders with a Ghost Bear Dominion, Clan Wolf in Exile, Word of Blake, etc....

The reason you exist is basically to die.

I agree: it's both Thug Life and originally as a buffer between Kurita and Steiner. Of course the real reason was the Clans needed a power no one was invested in to stomp through. I have much respect for you FRR people, though.

The FRR's numbers havent been the greatest to begin with but let me tell you one thing, as long as there are clanners knocking on our front-worlds we are going to be there to greet them with our ER PPC's.

We die free!

FRR exists as a buffer between Kurita and Steiner. And ultimately a buffer between IS and clan. Lose this buffer and the whole IS becomes vulnerable.

What I DONT understand is why the CW couldnt be counted as an alternate timeline split from the established one from 3049/ 3050. Its near impossible to have the invasion in the CW going exactly like in the lore. Somesimilarities, sure. One example is that the clans dont use stars or galaxies whe invading, also no 1 on 1 honor batlles to fight for the right to own. Noone would bother with that. Well most. I imagine cw to be the second chance for FRR, to become a major Power (Ghost Bear Dominion, Rasalhague dominion not COUNTED) , a neutral zone/ diplomat house to negotiate with houses and clans alike if possible but still with fierce competive Battles to defend Our Independence.

Not true, they may take your lives, your dignity, your planets, but they can never take your capital.

You Sirs are defeatists and do not deserve to wear the FRR colors.

Never give up, never surrender!

+1 to this and support for the FRR vs. the clan aggressors. They may take our planets but we will never yield.

Hmmmm?

Well, we're not he most talkative folks around. Usually too busy with my beer, brauts, and broads. Though, since I am a drunken space Viking...am, usually, wading into the fray with SRMs/Pulse lasers/PPCs singing. ;)

Been fighting every day since I came back, currently have the time for it. And, have aided several defenses and, offenses; against various planets. Sometimes I suck, sometimes I suck really bad, sometimes I do alright. <<shrugs>>

Shhhh... It's not so bad....

http://www.sarna.net...lhague_Dominion

Since then, the Bears have forged a union with the people of the former Free Rasalhague Republic that has the potential to become the first true melding of Clan and Inner Sphere societies.

It's not even called the Ghostbear dominion.. its the Rasalhague Dominion.... seems you guys get the uptick on it.

Some of the toughest fights though is when its only a few derps and we have to switch over because DC have focused on Davion. OMG... the organized FRR units can be brutal. especially when you get mixed company and they are not use to the same tactics.

Salute guys.

We're just biding our time, making sure the Bears take as many worlds as they please before we assimilate them.

We are the 'Borg.

Their resistance is futile.
