Very sorry to hear about your friend.

Words fail when we lose someone we care about, and can't really offer comfort for those that knew your friend.

Condolences for the loss of a fellow MechWarrior.
The same thing happened to me a few years back when I had a Guild in SWG.We lost 1 of our best pals due to a freak accident.That was about 8 years ago and I still think of him often.
Sad and I understand how it feels.Peace be with him wherever the next path takes him.

People often question the bonds formed through video gaming, but they are very real, and in some cases, even more real than some bonds formed in day to day life. A loss in a unit isn't just simply the loss of a player. It's the loss of a friend. No matter if it's in the real world or not, the pain is the same.

RIP to the fallen warrior and friend in MWO.

May his spirit ever be with you to guide your unit and strengthen the bonds already formed.

Upon hearing about Sleestak and how we're reacting to his passing, a close friend of mine said to me:

"The internet is a type of community, whether most people recognize it or not. It's a million small communities and fandoms that are just collections of people who look out for each other the way a village used to."

I'd say that about sums it up. Behind every mic is a person, and they matter, and when they're gone, they're missed.
